What you need to bring to your tax preparer:
your bank or credit union checking and/or savings account number (you have the option of having your federal refund deposited in more than one account)
your bank or credit union routing number (on a checking account, it is the nine digit number usually beginning with at least two 2s that precedes the checking account number). If you are unsure, contact your bank/credit union to get the correct routing number, as this number identifies the bank/credit union.
the type of acount (checking or savings).The preparer will input this information, and it shows at the end of your tax form
IF THE ACCOUNT NUMBER AND/OR ROUTING NUMBER IS INCORRECT, AND THE PREPARER HAS ALREADY E-FILED THE RETURN, THERE WILL BE A DELAY AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY END UP RECEIVING A PAPER CHECK!
